Abu Stephen Conteh YFC Sierra Leone National Director.Project: Traffic in Freetown is an extreme challenge. Motor bikes can easily navigate narrow streets and the constant traffic jambs. Abu has put forward a plan whereby YFC Sierra Leone Staff can earn money towards their salary’s by operating as a motor bike taxi driver. Abu’s plan includes a maintenance plan for the bikes as well as repayment of the loan to obtain the bikes. YFC Sierra Leone struggles with finding the resources to pay staff. This plan would help both the staff and YFC Sierra Leone to be self sustaining. Abu’s desire is to reach more young people in Sierra Leone with less dependence on income from outside of Sierra Leone. This plan will contribute greatly to that goal!
